Butter and Egg Adventures, a privately owned Alabama retreat center and outdoor recreation facility, is located on 48 scenic acres of land in Troy. Butter and Egg Adventures offers a variety of family-friendly activities, including 19 ziplines located in Alabama, and bunkhouse accommodation for 52 guests. Customized group events for children through adults can be planned. You can also arrange youth birthday parties, youth retreats and field trips for church and youth groups. Friendly and well-trained staff assist guests at zip lines, climbing structures and low and high rope challenge course activities. With a 3200 square foot lodge, Butter and Egg Adventures accommodates meeting and dining space for up to 100 guests with catering services available, but not required. On-site, you will also find The BattleField, an outdoor laser tag arena with over 42,000 sq. ft. of playing space, foxholes, machine gun nests, and more.
Troy is a city in and the county seat of Pike County, Alabama, United States. It was formally incorporated on February 4, 1843.Between 1763 and 1783, the area where Troy sits was part of the colony of British West Florida. After 1783, the region fell under the jurisdiction of the newly created United States of America. As of the 2010 census, its population was 18,033. The 2019 estimated population was 18,957.
